Emelgi Lifetime Guarantee
At Emelgi, every piece is made to be used, worn, and lived with. We design and craft our leather goods to last a lifetime - and we stand behind that commitment.
What our lifetime guarantee means
Every Emelgi product is covered by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. If your item fails due to how it was made or the materials used, we will repair or replace it.
This guarantee applies for the lifetime of the product, not just the first owner’s first year.
What’s Covered
Our Lifetime Guarantee covers:
- Stitching failures under normal use
- Hardware defects (snaps, rivets, fixings)
- Structural issues caused by craftsmanship or material faults
If something goes wrong because of how the piece was made, we’ll make it right.
What’s Not Covered
Leather is a natural material that evolves with time and use. Our guarantee does not cover:
- Natural wear, patina, or colour changes
- Scuffs, scratches, or marks from everyday use
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or exposure to extreme conditions
- Alterations or repairs carried out by third parties
These signs of wear are part of the story your piece tells; they are not flaws.
Repairs & Replacements
Where possible, we will repair your item, preserving its character and extending its life.
If a repair isn’t possible, we may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
All decisions are made with fairness, sustainability, and longevity in mind.
How to Make a Claim
To make a claim under the Lifetime Guarantee:
- Email us at usmaan@emelgi.com
- Include clear photos of the issue and a brief description
- If known, include your order number or approximate purchase date
We’ll review your request and get back to you as quickly as possible.
Why We Offer This
We believe in slow craft over disposability.
In making fewer, better things - and supporting them for life - we hope to encourage care, repair, and long-term ownership rather than replacement.
This guarantee is our promise that every Emelgi piece is made with intention, integrity, and respect for the materials.
